Job Purpose: The successful candidates will be responsible for testing and modifying mechanical and electro-mechanical systems within Sasol Group’s plants and laboratories. This role is crucial in ensuring that our equipment is maintained to the highest standards, contributing to Sasol’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and exceeded work standards in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness.
  • Engage in basic processing, reporting, and cost-conscious performance of tasks.
  • Manage schedules effectively, ensuring resource optimization and cost efficiency.
  • Champion safety and risk management in all project phases.
  • Align personal development with Sasol’s values and business objectives.
  • Comply with all legal and company standards, contributing to technical solutions.
  • Foster strong customer and team relationships, enhancing departmental image.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric/N3 with Maths, English, and Physical Science.
  • Post-school Tertiary Diploma (South Africa/Eurasia).
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and engineering design.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in various situations.
