Property Caretaker Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or higher school qualification
  • Experience working in a formal cleaning environment, groundskeeping, or waste management
  • Ability to work with fellow workers and willingness to relieve/relocate to other sections of Administration and Logistics
  • Previous working experience
  • Physically strong and healthy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work shifts

Property Caretaker Duties:

  • Maintenance and development of hospital grounds and gardens
  • Removal of garden waste
  • Planting of plants and flowers
  • Cutting of trees
  • Watering of plants and flowers
  • Preparation of event platforms
  • Willingness to be assigned supervisory functions in any section of Admin and Logistics as determined by managers
  • Maintenance of horticulture equipment
  • Adherence to regulations (Occupational Health and Safety Act)
