Minimum Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Grade 12.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Code 10 and 14 licenses with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of animals attended to at the clinic and during primary animal health care services.
  • Perform stocktaking, drug orders, and collection from stores.
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments, equipment, and veterinary facilities.
  • Assist with surgical procedures and provide post-operation monitoring.
  • Participate in veterinary-related campaigns and mobile clinical days.
  • Handle client interactions and animal follow-ups in the absence of the veterinarian.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting animal examinations and procedures.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Drive the veterinary mobile unit.
