Matjhabeng Municipality – 36 Positions

Matjhabeng Municipality is committed to addressing youth unemployment by offering a leanership opportunity for individuals interested in acquiring a certificate in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4). This initiative aims to provide skills enhancement opportunities for the youth and contribute to their employability.

Traffic Trainees Learnership Minimum Requirements

  • South Africans with Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • SAPS Clearance with no criminal record
  • Medical Examination proof
  • Age: 18 – 35
  • Permanent residence within Matjhabeng Local Municipality

Learnership Details

  • Training provided by Matjhabeng Traffic Training Academy
  • Duration: 12 months

Traffic Trainees Learnership Application Process

Candidates must:

  • Pass a written assessment and interview
  • Pass a physical assessment
  • Submit SAPS Clearance results
  • Maintain fitness levels and undergo ongoing assessments

Special Conditions

  • Completion of the training does not guarantee a permanent position
  • Extensive physical training and compliance with the Firearm and Ammunitions Act
  • Uniform requirements, shift work, and all-weather conditions
  • Accommodation only for candidates residing in Matjhabeng
