LOCATION: Menlyn Park

Job purpose:

Provide exceptional customer service, handle point of sale (POS) operations, and engage in store merchandising to create a positive customer experience.
Job objectives:

Efficiently carry out all operational tasks at the point of sale promptly and effectively.
Maintain high accuracy in scanning merchandise and processing payments, including managing club card rewards.
Ensure secure handling of cash at all times.
Proactively promote Clicks’ club card and enroll new members to meet the participation targets.
Inform customers about promotions to drive sales and ensure their satisfaction.
Represent the brand, offer friendly and professional service, and act as a brand ambassador for superior customer service.
Efficiently perform merchandising and general housekeeping duties in adherence to store and visual merchandise standards.
Ensure consistent service excellence by focusing on personal development, product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.
Support the organization’s vision of becoming the preferred health and beauty retailer by embodying and upholding company values.
Stay updated on product knowledge, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential: Completion of Grade 12.

Minimum 50% in both Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level.
Desirable: Relevant qualification in Retail/Business Management.
Desirable: Experience in customer-facing roles within retail/FMCG store operations.

Understanding of merchandising and promotional principles in the retail/FMCG sector.
