Location: Atteridgeville, Gauteng
Hours: 8 hrs per shift
Salary: To be confirmed per month
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: 6 shifts per week
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
Join our team as a Shop Assistant and contribute to providing excellent customer service while ensuring smooth operations by Rage Policies and Procedures. As a vital member of our store, you will report to the store leader and assist in various tasks to maintain store standards and meet customer needs.

Shop Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Maintain store operations according to Rage Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store at all times
  • Receive, check, and unpack stock accurately
  • Assist customers with opening new accounts and filling out necessary details
  • Conduct unit counts and minimize stock losses
  • Maintain visual displays and layouts
  • Assist with processing Pack lists, Recalls, and Markdown instructions
  • Provide telephonic and walk-in customer assistance
  • Actively participate in training sessions
  • Maintain stockroom standards
  • Assist in achieving monthly sales targets
  • Ensure fire exits and escape routes are clear

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification
  • Proficiency in English
  • Clear criminal record

Preferences:

  • South African candidates
  • Prior experience as a Shop Assistant
  • Residing within 15km of the job location
