Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate with no experience required.
  • Computer and Communication skills.

Duties:

  • Provide registry counter services.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Render an effective filing and record management service.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Application Requirements:

  • A completed new Z83 form (available at any Public Service Department or www.gov.za.).
  • Full completion of Z83 form parts A, B, C, and D.
  • An updated comprehensive CV detailing previous experience, including positions held and dates.
  • Certified copies of all qualifications and ID document to be submitted on the interview day.
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical exercise to test relevant technical aspects of the job.
  • The Department will actively communicate the logistics for the exercise to the candidates before the interviews.
  • The successful candidate must declare all registrable financial interests to the Director-General.
  • The successful candidate must actively sign a performance agreement and employment contract with the Director-General within three months of assuming duty.
  • The successful candidate will be required to sign an oath of secrecy with the Department.
  • Applicants must be available for selection interviews and assessments as scheduled by the Department.
  • The Department will issue the offer letter only once they have actively verified the candidate’s educational qualifications, previous experience, citizenship, reference checks, and security vetting.
