Clicks offers an exciting opportunity to participate in a Learnership Programme to become a qualified Pharmacist Assistant. The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Job description

Learnership Programme:

Successfully complete the Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant National Certificate through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy
Successfully complete the Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Further Education and Training Certificate, also through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy
Both qualifications are part of a structured learning programme that includes theoretical and practical components, leading to a qualification registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF)
As a Learner in this programme, you will be expected to achieve the following objectives:

Successfully complete the Learnership Training Contracts at an approved Clicks Pharmacy, under the guidance of an approved tutor
Participate in the required training interventions and successfully pass the competency assessments
Submit a Portfolio of Evidence
Provide support to the healthcare team in one of Click’s Pharmacies, supervised by a registered Pharmacist, and within the legal scope of practice as specified by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Minimum requirements.
Qualification requirement:

Minimum prerequisite: Successful completion of Grade 12 with at least 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Mathematical Literacy), 50% in English, and a satisfactory grade in either Life Science (Biology) or Physics.

Successful applicants will need to sign a work-back agreement, committing to working as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant for Clicks for a period equal to the duration of the learnership program, at a minimum
