Requirements:

  • Minimum education: ABET/ Standard 8
  • 6 to 12 months of experience working with victims of Gender-based Violence is advantageous.
  • Absence of any criminal record or ongoing legal matters involving you.
  • Desired skills: Strong customer service, previous experience assisting victims of Gender-based Violence, effective communication, empathy, and basic understanding of Gender-based Violence.
    Responsibilities:
  • Report daily incidents to the supervisor.
  • Prepare tea for visitors and management.
  • Deliver meals to sick clients.
  • Provide clients with clothing and toiletries.
  • Submit daily client statistics.
  • Accompany clients to hospitals, clinics, or court proceedings.
  • Maintain records of toiletries and linen.
  • Allocate rooms to sheltered clients.
  • Assist and supervise kitchen activities.
  • Perform daily roll calls of clients in the center.
  • Escort sick clients to healthcare facilities.
  • Manage the client occurrence book.
  • Oversee family visits to clients and report any significant incidents to the multidisciplinary team.
