Tsebo Facilities Solutions seeks a Handyman Assistant responsible for efficient mail/messaging service, ensuring timely and accurate mail distribution on the client’s site. Duties include sorting and handling all mail-related items, managing reprographics requests professionally, and more. Tsebo Solutions Group specializes in Integrated Workplace Management Solutions, offering reduced costs and increased quality and efficiency in various services.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Collect mail and parcels from specified areas and deliver to the mailroom per schedule.
  • Retrieve mail and parcels from the post office as scheduled.
  • Assist in sorting and distributing mail.
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are documented and signed off.
  • Distribute packages, leaflets, and promotional items.
  • Report any suspicious mail or packages.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collections and deliveries.

Printing / Binding and Photocopying:

  • Maintain stock levels of copy and binding materials.
  • Ensure neat and professional handling of copying, laminating, and binding tasks.
  • Avoid wastage of materials.
  • Report machinery errors and jams to IT department/service providers.
  • Replenish consumables in machinery.
  • Maintain records of consumables used.
  • Maintain a database of all printer devices and their locations.


  • Coordinate with clients regarding courier services.
  • Arrange parcel collections with courier companies.
  • Ensure accurate delivery to end-users.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records.

Helpdesk and Reporting:

  • Liaise with Helpdesk for service-related calls.
  • Update calls according to progress to meet SLA.
  • Escalate as necessary to the soft service manager.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the soft service manager.


  • Update notice boards and poster frames.
  • Maintain a register of posters and print materials.

Confidential Shredding:

  • Escort the contractor responsible for confidential shredding.
  • Ensure POPI compliance and document clearance.
  • Maintain records of all collections.
  • Assist with shredding for the executive office if needed.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication across all management levels.
  • Competent and professional.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask.
  • Attention to detail.


  • Grade 12.
  • Driver’s license is advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of experience.
