SALARY: R171 537 per annum
CENTRE: Mmabatho Regional Office – Brits Magistrate Court

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in communication and basic numeracy.
  • Strong interpersonal relations.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and hazardous working conditions.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and cleaning materials.
  • Ability to write a report.

General Foreman DUTIES:

  1. Administer attendance records for cleaners.
  2. Inspect the physical environment to ensure hygiene and cleanliness.
  3. Monitor the condition and availability of cleaning equipment.
  4. Order, receive, and issue cleaning materials.
  5. Ensure safekeeping of cleaning materials and equipment.
  6. Manage and resolve grievances of cleaning staff.
  7. Compile attendance reports.
  8. Delegate work responsibilities.
  9. Assist in cleaning certain areas in the building.
  10. Report faults and defects that might affect daily operations.

NOTE:

Effective from 01 January 2021, DPSA has approved the use of the new Z83 Application Form, obtainable from any Public Service department.
