Job Description:

The Europcar Branch in Mafikeng is offering a permanent Driver: Light Duty opportunity. They are seeking someone who understands the importance of providing quality service and delivering vehicles on time. The ideal candidate should be calm under pressure, take pride in their work, and be eager to learn and contribute to the team’s success.

Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to deliver efficient, friendly customer service and ensure that every renter receives a vehicle on time, meeting quality and safety standards.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning vehicle interior and exterior to high standards.
  • Vehicle quality control, including identifying and reporting expired license vehicles.
  • Refueling vehicles, checking tire pressure, and oil/water/other fluids after every rental.
  • Delivering vehicles to customers following procedures.
  • Handling vehicle check-ins following company, quality control, and claims procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
  • Behaving ethically to safeguard the assets and interests of the business and customers.
  • Other duties on request.

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Experience: 2 years relevant driving experience Minimum Qualification: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent) Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)
  • Computer literate (basic level)
  • Able to read a map

Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime/shifts/weekends when required.

  • Good interpersonal skills for excellent face-to-face customer relations.
  • Ability to handle pressure and exhibit good time management skills.
