Are you skilled in data capturing and looking for a challenging opportunity? The Gauteng Division of The High Court Pretoria is seeking a competent and motivated Data Capturer to join their team. Below are the details of the position:

Position: Data Capturer

Salary: R171,537 – R199,461 per annum

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate or original qualification
  • Experience in data capturing (will be advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Job knowledge
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and cooperation
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Data Capturer Duties:

  • Provide administrative support services
  • Capture and update data from available records into required formats (databases, tables, spreadsheets)
  • Induce spreadsheets and update the system on all data sets
  • Validate and review data for quality purposes, ensuring correctness, completeness, and consistency
  • Collect and update routine statistical information/reports and registers
  • Admit, register, and track records or documents submitted for further processing
  • Capture routine deals on the computer, such as transferring information from paper to electronic records
  • Provide routine and executive conservation services
  • Continuously update information on the computer for reporting purposes and information retrieval
  • Verify and correct missing data and errors observed during data entry
  • Submit data and perform regular backups
  • Keep and maintain records and files in a duly sorted and secure manner
  • Provide information to the relevant parties
