We’ve got an exciting opportunity coming up at a growing Auditing and Financial Services Firm in the northern suburbs of JHB. They’re looking for ambitious individuals eager to embark on a journey in the financial industry by completing at least 3 years of SAIPA.

Position: Article Clerk SAIPA
Location: Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa
Salary: R10-R11k per month

  • Assisting with financial reporting and collaborating closely with senior accountants or auditors
  • Conducting audits and ensuring compliance with IFRS for SME
  • Bookkeeping, data capturing, and processing financial transactions accurately
  • Tax compliance and completing tax returns
  • Providing insights on financial and accounting matters through research
  • Client management and relationship building
  • Staying updated with industry trends and developments
  • Assisting with various ad hoc tasks as needed

Article Clerk Requirements and Skills:

  • Completed B.Com/B.Compt degree in SAIPA/Accounting Field
  • Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
  • Pro-active, analytical, and deadline-driven
  • Good theoretical and technical background in Accounting, Auditing, and Tax
  • Keen interest in Financial Year End duties
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Living arrangements near the office preferred
  • Clear ITC and criminal record

Salary: R10,000.00 per month
