Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for handling raw materials efficiently and ensuring a continuous supply to production. Your tasks will include receiving, loading, and off-loading materials, conducting inspections, maintaining equipment functionality, and adhering to safety and quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in waste management, documentation, and supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Agro Material Handler Responsibilities:

  • Receive, load, and off-load raw materials from trucks, checking accompanying documents.
  • Inspect incoming trucks for foreign objects before unloading.
  • Ensure consistent feeding to the fryer using various raw materials.
  • Maintain equipment functionality to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials.
  • Report equipment breakdowns to Front-Line Manager (FLM) and Engineering artisan.
  • Ensure raw material supply to production is free from foreign material.
  • Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain cleanliness as per safety standards.
  • Manage production waste removal and prevent contamination.
  • Record raw material usage and stock quantities accurately.
  • Maintain forklift machines and participate in cycle counts.
  • Report faults on forklift machines promptly.
  • Prioritize safety, adhere to company policies, and contribute to safety awareness initiatives.


  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Tertiary qualification in Inventory Management or related field (advantageous).
  • 2 years of experience in an FMCG or Warehouse Environment.
  • Valid Forklift driver’s license from an accredited service provider.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Safety Regulations.
  • Computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft, and Excel (advantageous).
  • Drive for results.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Integrity in all tasks.
  • Flexible to work shifts.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
