Salary: R216,417 per annum (Level 05)

Location: Pretoria

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification with relevant experience in office management and administration.
  • Post-matric qualification would be advantageous.
  • Core competencies: Client orientation, communication, honesty, integrity, planning, organizing, telephone etiquette, and computer literacy.
  • Technical Competencies: Office management, secretarial functions, and general administration.

Administrative Assistant job (Duties):

  • Develop and manage an efficient filing system and flow of documents for line functions in the Office of the Director-General’s Chief Directorate.
  • Receive, distribute, and record documents.
  • File and manage paperwork.
  • Establish effective document tracking systems.
  • Provide secretarial support services, including coordinating and preparing documentation for meetings/workshops, compiling minutes/reports, and drafting correspondence.
  • Manage diaries of heads of Directorates, arranging appointments, and promoting effective diary coordination.
  • Provide administrative support services, including arranging logistics for travel, meetings, workshops, and conferences, purchasing/ordering stationery and equipment, managing inventory, and handling document reproduction and communication.
