Requirements:

  • Grade 12/Senior certificate.
  • Knowledge of the supply chain management environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of SYSCON and LOGIS systems is an added advantage.

Administration Clerk – Supply Chain Duties:

  • Assist with the procurement of goods and services and liaise with suppliers.
  • Provide logistical support.
  • Administer inventory and allocate assets following policies and guidelines.
  • Perform physical asset verification, barcoding, and update asset registers.
  • Maintain accurate records, handle asset disposal, and facilitate communication and reporting.
  • Offer administrative support.

Note: The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the Support Services Directorate by assisting in supply chain management and ensuring the efficient administration of assets and procurement. Knowledge of SYSCON and LOGIS systems is advantageous for this role.
